How Biological Males in Women's Sports Might Affect the Olympics in 2024

Transgender cyclist accuses woman she defeated of 'poor sportsmanship' for failing to link arms - Mirror Online  Transgender women, also known as biological males, have recently come to the conclusion that it is unfair to not be able to compete with other women in women's sports. This strikes many athletes and fans as unfair because biological males are built differently than biological women. They are usually bigger and stronger and have higher scores and shorter times in sports than women do. In sports teams that have allowed transgender women to play on biological women's sports teams, they effortlessly win 1st place and beat high scores by unrealistic amounts for women. It has been thought that biological males might be pretending to be transgender women or identify as transgender women with a goal to beat their record- having nothing to do with the fact that they identify as a woman. Biological females feel as if all of their very hard training has gone to waste, now that there's very little chance that they can beat the transgender women's records.

With the 2024 Olympics coming up in about a year, transgenders are protesting to play on women's sports teams, while most of the other biological women's athletes are protesting against it. The author of forbes.com states, "world aquatics announced it will establish an 'open' category for swimming events, allowing competitors whose gender differs from their birth sex to participate." This seems to be just the beginning for transgender women playing in biological women's sports.
